The Lucky Craft Sammy 115 reached the shores of Jersey about 10 years ago and lead the way in new modern lure fishing for the next few years after that. This is the lure that made me fall in love with top water lure plugging. It was the lure that I learnt to walk the dog with, and once you master this technique and its variations it opens up a whole world of angling. Small twitches and quick bursts drive the fish wild and its high pitch rattle makes it sound different than other simular lures. I have caught in all water conditions but I do prefer to use a Sammy when it is fairly calm to a slight chop, but that is just my findings. Weighing 18.5g it casts well and these models are the Saltwater versions, fitted with stonger split rings and high quality Saltwater trebles. The MS in the title stands for metalic scales which gives it a very lifelike appearance. The Orange/gold is exactly what it says, gold belly moving up through gold scales and onto an orange top. This colour is fast becoming a very popular colour over here in Jersey with our bass anglers, in diving and surface lures this colour works in all water situations, murky coffee water to crystal clear.
