Description
SLD stands for Slim Long Distance. This lure is exactly that, mimicing a Sandeel or other slim bait fish. The long casts are achieved from the larger weight transfer system with three shifting ball bearings, which makes casting into wind easy .

Technique
On the retrieve, if you reel slowly this lure will zigzag with a stunned or injured look about it, and if reeled in fast will roll from side to side like a swimming fish does. Therefore combining the two by reeling slow them cranking and jerking the rod for a second or two, really makes this lure come alive. Stopping the lure completely will let it almost suspend in the water, rising very slowly, which can be handy when getting "follows".
